Before you begin — save your current nameservers In Step 4 you will see your current nameservers. Write them down or save them somewhere before making any changes — you will need them to revert if your email stops working.

ℹ️

Your email records are preserved All necessary email records have been configured. Keep your current nameservers as a backup just in case.

Steps

Step 01 Log in to Network Solutions

Go to networksolutions.com and sign in with your email and password. After logging in you will land on the home page shown below.

Step 02 Go to Domains and click Settings

Click Domains in the left sidebar. Find your domain and click the Settings button next to it.

Step 03 Scroll down and open Advanced Tools

You are now on the domain settings page. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click Advanced Tools to expand it.

Step 04 Save your current nameservers, then click Manage

Advanced Tools will expand and show your current nameservers. Save them below before doing anything else — you will need them if you ever need to revert.

Once saved, click Manage next to Nameservers (DNS).

Step 05 Click Continue on the warning popup

A warning popup will appear. This is normal. Click Continue.

Step 06 Paste the new nameservers and click Save

The nameserver fields will appear. Clear both fields and copy-paste the two nameservers below exactly as shown. Then click Save.

You're done! Your nameservers have been saved. DNS changes propagate gradually — here is what to expect:

If something goes wrong

🚨

If your email stops working, revert immediately Use the nameservers you saved in Step 4 to restore your original settings.

1Log back into Network Solutions
2Go to Domains → Settings → Advanced Tools → Manage (same as Steps 2–4)
3Replace the nameservers with your original ones — the ones you saved in Step 4. If you did not save them, the default Network Solutions nameservers are typically ns1.networksolutions.com and ns2.networksolutions.com
4Click Save
5Wait 1–4 hours — your email will return to normal
